SQL Server native backups at that size, assuming you've enabled compression, depends on the speed of the storage that's available. The backup speed may be acceptable if you have the good stuff.
If that's not fast enough, then stripe your backup to multiple files on multiple devices.
If that's not fast enough, then you may need to get some more expensive storage and look at some alternative methods. But make sure you fully understand the implications.
