newbie to databases

Hello and my regards to all.

I have one question. Is it possible to learn databases ( with no prior experience) from scratch by using or starting from MS SQL Server 2016?...

I have a laptop Zbook i7, 32gb ram, windows enterprise 10 with MS SQL Server 2016 installed on it and can I start learning about data bases from here?

your help is appreciated in advance

Regards

yes, on the top of the SQLserverCentral.com website there is a "Stairways" link, look at that and see if that gives you a good starting point. Other than that, search for Database Design and 3NF and see where that takes you.

You should have a copy of AdventureWorks database also to help you see some of the principles in action.
