SQL Agent job on success action

All,

We have a job that we only want a notification from if the job fails. We are trying to turn off the notifications on success. Our job executes nightly backups for developers of certain databases. The job has one step, backup the db to a location.

We are using SQL 2012

The option to "quit with success" is not available for some reason.

Can anyone help with this. We are trying to cut back on unwanted emails and notifications.

Can you post a screen shot of the job properties? What happens now when the job completes successfully? Do you get a notification?
