If I connect a SQL Database from web page to MS Access, does it automatically update the access table?

I'm making a web application that includes a simple form. That information, when submitted, will go to a SQL Database which will be connected to an Access table. Will the information in the Access table automatically be updated when the new info is put in the SQL database?

why is there an Access table if you already have a SQL database?
