I'm trying to setup distribution in sql server 2014 express and I'm not able to find "configure distribution" under the dropdown when I right click replication.
To get passed this I tried to go into "Launch Replication Monitor" and add a publisher using sql server authentication. The micorsoft tutorials never told me to set up a publisher prior to trying to add distribution so I had to back track. Regardless, it gives me an error saying this server is neither a publisher or subscriber or I do not have the permissions to access replication functionality on this server.
Can someone please give me suggestions on what might be going on?
