We use SQL to retrieve the data more quickly.
It declares using CREATE statement.

Syntax:

  1. CREATE INDEX index_name
  2. ON table_name(column_name)
  3. Or
  4. CREATE UNIQUE INDEX index_name
  5. ON table_name(column_name)
