Do I need domain admin permission to create SQL cluster?

I have a windows cluster already installed in windows server 2012 . I am about to install the SQL Cluster. My question is do I need domain permission to install the SQL Cluster?

you do not need Domain Admin premission to install SQL Cluster. You will need appropriate permissions on the nodes (host machines) of the cluster. Also the service account that you will be using to configure SQL Service need to have permissions in AD t ocreate computer object name. so it can register SQL Cluster name in AD.

Note that the SQL Cluster / AG name can be created for you by someone else, as long as the SQL Server service accounts have rights to change the CNO in Active Directory.
