Database archiving having secondary data file (.ndf)

Hi All,

I want to archive my database due to space constraint. However this database also has secondary data file(.ndf). I don't have much information about secondary data files. Please tell me if I follow the archiving steps (select particular data, insert it into another table and move this table to other server) will secondary data file cause any issue to the archiving ? Pls suggest important tips or suggestions for archival process as well.

The secondary file should not cause any issues. It is just another physical file within the database. Tables and/or indexes may or may not reside within that particular file.
