Should I add a Data File to my Database

I have a User Database that consists of an MDF & LDF file and is 200 GB in total size.

It is on a SQL Instance with 100 other user DB's

The DB's are stored on a NAS system and the SQL Instance just had a 2nd logical 2 TB Storage space added to the Instance.

Is it worthwhile to add one or more NDF files to the new storage to help with the Database performance?

I think that depends. Adding additional data files can help with performance, however, what performance problem are you experiencing? I wouldn't add data files just because.
