Hi How to troubleshoot production issues when you don't have access Is there any third party tools where you can see the logs or whether we need to approach DBAs Your response will be appreciated Thanks

I think this is an opinion based question so you might end up with a few varying answers. I also think that it's more common sense thing than anything else. I would speak with your DBA(s). Would you want your DBA's finding out that you're monitoring their SQL Instances? Every DBA is precious about their SQL estate and rightly so! The third party tools I know would need some sort of install/permissions/ad groups setting up that your DBAs would probably be part of anyway. Plus the monitoring might put more stress on your SQL Instances and would you really want to get the bad side of your DBA's if they didn't know what you're doing? Most DBA's will/should be closely monitoring their SQL Instances and probably have some good tools at their disposal already. They could already be looking at the issues, but they've not informed you what they're doing.
