Any tools to automate SQL Server patching?

I've been looking for a tool or scripts that can automate SQL Server patching of standalone, clusters, mirrors, and always-on systems. Does anyone have something that they are using successfully today? Or, recommendations ... For example, WSUS, RockSolid, BMC Database Automation, SolarWinds Patch Manager, etc. THANK YOU!

Very interesting indeed. Would love to see what others say. But we are using a semi-automatic and manual patching model depending upon the complexity and criticality of the environments. We are planning to move to the Cloud, where patching is a different story altogether. So, I do not feel that I qualify for the answer. With this comment I have subscribed to this question though. :) Last but not least, the following blogs by Kendra Little are very helpful.
