Linked Server SQL 2016 ODBC

HI all, I would like to know something regarding linked server, I have managed to create a linked server connection using odbc on SQL server, at one instance I can connect...on the another instance it fails to connect, would you know the reasons for this ?

Can you please post more information like the error information etc.
