SQL Managemen Studio 17.3 Busy

I have installed managment studion 17.3 and after i have been using it for a couple of minutes the application freezes and by clicking somewhere I get a notification saying that Management studio is busy. I wait 10 minutes without success and close the application in Task manager. I start the application again with the same result, but the time before the "Busy" message is random. Why? And does anyone else have this issue? I am using Windows 10 ( latest edition ),

Interesting... Are you connecting to servers over a VPN or Azure?

No, it's a lokal server developer edition on my laptop. But may laptop is joined to AzureAD account and I log on to the server with my azuread account. Could that be the issue?

i have seen v16+ show "busy" when over VPN or network issues. Sometime Redgate SQL Prompt caused issues if the server was under load...

I used to have Red-gate installed, but I reinstalled my computer because of this problem and haven't reinstalled Red-Gate products yet It's basically a clean install with Office365 and SQL 2017. After testing the SSMS without success, I also installed VS2017.

I switched to a local account that isn't connected to AzureAD on my laptop and now it seems to work. But I am not sure if it has to do with the AzureAD, the accountname that contains a Swedish letter or the fact that I installed SSMS before I joined the laptop to AzureAD. But on the other hand, I had the problem before I reinstalled my laptop and SSMS was installed after the laptop was connected to AzureAD. Then the problem is probably connected to my account name, because other colleagues have the same kind of setup. It would make sence that there are some kind of problem when SSMS tries to write something to AppData in my user profile.

Problem solved. It seems to have something to do with my user account. I guess it has something to do with the Swedish letter in my accountname and SSMS is trying to write something in my computer profile. It works fine as long as I don't use an AD account with Swedish letter.
