Is is possible to restore tabular ssas database as multidimensional database ?

@rehaan From what I know, this is not possible. Tabular and multidimensional are different semantics of SSAS. In fact, you can have only one or the other per instance (determination is made at installation time). Tabular calculations are done with DAX while multidimensional with MDX. There is no way to restore tabular as multidimensional, the multidimensional will have to be created from scratch using the same source. The calculations will be pretty easy to translate from DAX to MDX, but the dimensions, facts, and the cube, along with it dimension usage specifications, need to be created.
