Linked server stops working after Migration from 2000 2014

After Migrating SQL Server instance from 2000 to 2014. Linked Server queries that were ran against an Oracle database started failing with date time conversion and sometimes returning insufficient rows. Is there a way to make sql server 2014 DNS s stay the same as was in MSSQL 2000? Thanks Mistens

Can you post the exact error message? Did anything in the SQL Server database change during the migration?

Nothing changed. The linked server has issue returning rows from a view with a derived date field and there was no such issue in version 2000. Migrated the database to 2008 and set it to compatible level 80 or 2000 compatible not much luck still. there still appear to be issues returning the date columns This time it just ignores them Thanks for looking at this Mistens

A query of the linked server returns a result set but without the derived date column?
