Compression estimates for a table located on SQL 2008/14/16

Hi there, I'm comparing compression estimates for a table located on SQL 2008. I pulled over 15 mil rows to both SQL 2014 and 2016 for both a delete test and compression test but noticed the estimate of space saved is much less than what 2008 is reporting. Doing the calculate using page compression the current space looks way better on SQL 2008 as follows: ActualGB - Calculated_SpaceGB - No of rows (Million): SQL2008 83 - 30 - 211 SQL2014 8.7 - 8.1 - 15 SQL2016 8.4 - 7.9 - 15 Any ideas why? Thanks Patrick
