Installed wrong collation on SQL Server 2016

Hi Guys, I installed the default collation on SQL server 2016 [SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS] and we use [Latin1_General_CI_AS] on all our other servers. Originally I detached our databases from another server, moved them to the new one and attached. Everything was fine until I noticed the collation. If I detach the databases, reinstall SQL Server and attach the databases again will I be ok? Thanks for any advice, Derek

If the collation of the database is right, but the server is not the one you're expecting, then yes, rebuilding the server with the right collation and attaching the databases should do the job. If not, then I've not understood the question... :-)
