I would think that you could adjust that alert and adjust it so that it's better suited for your environment. If 10K pages/sec isn't appropriate (meaning it's too low of an alert) adjust it up so that its better suited. If it is appropriate, you'll have to examine the process that is reading that many pages and see if you can tune things to read less pages.

so the question is where to look for and what to do so that these messages no longer appears.

What is the name of the monitoring tool, and how is the error message being conveyed to you? How often?

Nagios is the name of the monitoring tool. It sends out an email to three people whose email are on the monitoring alert group.
