A datawarehouse without measures

To answer this, you need to do some "business analysis". What are the questions the business needs to answer? Often this will include money. Almost always there will be a date/time/calendar aspect. I note you've called your fact table FactResearcher. The sks in that table seem to be more describing the research than the researcher. So what are some facts about the research that the business might want to know? How many research projects were published last year? By whom? How long did they run for on average? How much did they cost? What proportion ran over budget?
