[SSIS] Error Failed to decrypt an encrypted XML node

![I have SSIS packages which I developed on my machine. I copied the packages from my virtual windows machine onto a disk and re-installed windows. Now I am trying to run the packages on the re-installed windows machine and I get the following error messages:][1] How can I open this projects in the newly configure virtual machine. I tried the following but is not working command: for %f in (C:\ETL\*.dtsx) do dtutil.exe /file %f /encrypt file;%f;0 [1]: /storage/temp/3478-screen-shot-2016-06-10-at-142744.png

It is erring on a connection manager that has senstive information encrypted (password, etc.). The package you are trying to open has the default protection level set to encryption by user key. Unless you are opening the package as the user that built it, you will not be able to decrypt that information. The messages are just warnings, it is not an error but you will not be able to run the package until you re-enter the senstive information.

Thank you Shawn. I was using SQL Server Data Tools for Visual Studio 2015. I switched to SQL Server Data Tolls for Visual Studio 2012 and managed to open the SSIS package with no warnings,
