Not able to install 64bit SQL 2014 on Win 10 Home with i7 6500U

Hello, I'm trying to install SQL Server 2014 Developer Edition (that MS now gives for free, without any Product-Key) on my Laptop. Laptop configuration as per settings-->System-->About Menu: Processor: Intel i7 6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz Installed RAM: 16.0GB Edition: Windows 10 Home System Type: 64 bit Operating System, x64-based processor However, upon checking "options" menu in SQL Server Installation Center Wizard, Under the question: Specify the architecture of SQL Server 2014 to install, and specify the location of SQL Server installation media. The only "Processor Type" option enabled is **x86** and **x64** is permanently disabled! Can you please help me understand what is going on here? Is "About Windows setting" wrong **OR** free developer edition only allows x86 mode of installation **OR** Something strange going on in my laptop? Please help.

Looking in the download page on virtualstudio.com, it appears that you have to select which architecture you want to download for at that point. Is it possible you downloaded the wrong one?
