I want to install the sql server programmatically. 1. Is there any open program to install it? 2. In which language is it possible to install, if so where can I get the source code?

Yes. You can do it with a simple DOS command, or you can wrap that up in powershell. Have a look on TechNet for "[Install SQL Server Using A Configuration File][1]" and "[Install SQL Server from the Command Prompt][2]" Good news is it's pretty straightforward. Good luck! Just this past Monday at our NOVASQL (Northern Virginia PASS chapter) monthly meeting, Jamie Wick from the Richmond, VA SQL Server PASS chapter gave a great presentation on this topic using PowerShell and configuration files. This was originally just a comment, but I converted it to an answer because Jamie gave me permission to attach his files. The zip file contains the various scripts he demonstrated. The PDF with the slides is too big, so I'm still trying to figure out a way to attach that later. [install-scripts][1] [1]: /storage/temp/3371-install-scripts.zip
