Are Sharepoint links stored in SQL?

Hello, A user has a link to a pdf file on SharePoint and they asked me if I can tell them if that file is linked to anywhere else on SharePoint. I know for normal pages you can go to Page -> Incoming links , but there isn't this option for links to PDFs. I have tried looking through the aspx files but cant see anything useful. We have two databases called SharePoint_AdminContent and SharePoint_Config, I assume I can find the information somewhere in here?

the content database will hold details of the docs, these will be stored as a varbinary image. in the AllDocs table there is a column titled LeafName, this will hold the name of the file, there are various other columns giving size, etc. Have a good look at the schema and you should be able to work out the structure
