Is it possible to adjust the spam filter so that posts from more trusted users are more leniently treated?

He has over 19,000 karma points, but his answer was flagged for moderation. Is it possible to have karma points somehow influence the filter? Maybe just accept all answers from anyone over a certain karma level? I don't know what the best method would be, but right now I'm just wondering if something is possible.
