Naming convention of SQL DR Server

Hi all, We are implementing a Disaster recovery server for our live database server. What naming convention can be used for this DR Server. For example, name of the live is "SQLDB", can we name the DR as "SQLDB-DR" or any other suggestions. Thanks in advance Regards, K.P.Senthil Kumar

My first thought - Why does it matter - if you ever need to invoke DR, won't the server be renamed as 'SQLDB'. How are you implementing DR?

That's as good as anything, yes!

Yes Kev. You are right. When the DR server is invoked it has to be renamed as "SQLDB". But, we need to have a relevant name for the DR Server, so that this could be easily identified on the DNS (specifically during the time of disaster), that is the reason I am asking. Can we name it as "SQLDB-DR"?
