SQL 2012 Import and Export Wizard

I'm running SQL Server 2012 and the Import and Export Wizard. I connect to IBM data source. When the Select Source Tables and Views dialog box opens, it states "The source database you have selected contains no visible tables or views. This happens when I use the IBM DB2 for iBMDASQL OLE DB Provider as well as the IBM DB2 for i IBMDA400 OLD DB Provider. What is required to make the user tables and views visible? Tammy

Do you have permissions to these tables in DB2? Can you connect and run queries against them?

Hi, If the providers in question do not help, then you can try the other providers like **Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2** (enterprise edition only). If not, the last scope is the ODBC, but please be warned that ODBC can tend to be very slow. Let us know where you stand.

Thank you. I can use the sql statement option within the OLE DB Source Editor and get to the table data that way, so I have a solution; I just was really curios why this is the only access method, and the list of tables will not display.
