MDX LastNonEmpty aggregation issue

I have turned on LastNonEmpty aggregation on a facttable of valuations, and this works great when its just date and value. When I then try and display date and value broken down into dimensions ie by Individual or by Group, the totals are no longer match up with the first date and value totals. I have read this is due to the absence of a value in the period for certain dimension members. Is there any way to get around this other then ensuring there are 0 values in the fact table for the various dimensions? Regards Jon

Jon, could you provide a sample of what you're seeing vs. what you are expecting to see?
