Data Migration: db2/as400 to sql 2012

I'm beginning research on efficient methods for importing DB2 DDL and data into SQL 2012 for storage of historical legacy data. I would appreciate opinions or methods others have used to do this. Thank you, Tammy

I'm using Data Studio 3.1.1 GUI for DB2 databases, and there is a option to script all database objects i think. You need to be carefull because not all data types are equal (and all options too, for example Identity property, dafault timestamp and so on). You will have some manual work here to correct all this things. I worked few times reverse job than yours, from SQL to DB2.
