How do I...configure dbgrowth alerts in SQL 2008R2 express edition

Hi, How to configure db growth alerts in SQL server 2008R2 express edition(Production). In express edition we can not enable the SQL agent. How do i configure dbgrowth alerts? Please help me. Thanks, Sree.

When you have SQL Server Express edition you loose a lot of nice funstionality that the full version has. If you are wanting to get alerts you will probably need third party applictaion that monitors that. Idera makes a nice free DB monitor. On express you will either have to do it manually since there isn't a job agent or get a third party software that can monitor SQL Express instances.
