To confirm, want a dropdown with the column heads in from a data set in your report. I assume you want to do some conditional filtering of columns. Is that right? is your dataset reading a table or a query?

You could do this, if you really wanted to. You would need a seperate DS that read the column heads from your SP, however how likely are they to change? If they are going to change daily then I see the need to make this dynamic, however if they are set once and dont change then personally I would just add it manually.

Aaron Bertrand has a good SO on this exact topic. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14574773/retrieve-column-names-and-types-of-a-stored-procedure Once you have this pipe it in to an additional DS.

Hi... I have used this SELECT name FROM sys.dm_exec_describe_first_result_set_for_object ( OBJECT_ID('storedprocedurename'), NULL ) T-SQL query to get all column name from Stored Procedure. But when i have used stored procedure which contain Temporary table then this above query does not return any result which i want. This is a limitation of dm_exec_describe_first_result_set_for_object. Could you please tell me how to do same thing when my batch contain temporary table.
