If you put your exact Query into Google search Engine and click on the first hit, you'll find more information and examples about creating t-sql functions than you'll ever get from asking such a broad question here. Read up on functions in Books Online and other sources (see nidheesh.r.pillai's answer eg) and try to be more specific in your questions.
