I do not think this question is up for guessing since all three options could be correct in a specific situation. If you want to know which backup to restore, you need to ask a question. Someone has asked you to restore a database, they need to provide you with information that answers your question above. If you did not get that information, ask the person who wants the restore about the point in time that they would like the database restored to.
If both Backups are identical, then you check both backups, whether backups are eligible for restore or not? after that you can choose the backup file for restore. If both files are valid, then it doesn't matter. Any one you can restore.
Not able to comprehend properly from the question. But as per me, if both backup are same, identical and valid then using anyone for restoration give you same results in terms of database. Still it is always better to restore recent valid backup.
