How can I encrypt in the column level of SQL for numeric data

I want to encryption in the column level of SQL for numeric data.What should I do?Is there an algorithm for this? Where should I put the function of encrypting in the source code?

We have a series of columns that we want these columns to be encrypted when they go into RAM. Suppose we have a table. In the first row, first column, we have number1. In the first row, second column, we have number1000.In the second row, first column, we have number2. In the second row, second column, we have number2000. we want to encrypt 1000 and 2000. In fact, I would to do the same thing for SQL that Oracle have done for encrypting column.

ENCRYPTBYPASSPHRASE and DECRYPTBYPASSPHRASE will work here to encrypt and decrypt column.
