SSRS - Deploy report as different user

Hi all Is there a way to deploy a report as a different user other than the account you are logged in as? Our department have decided to use a generic account to deploy reports to our report server. Thanks Ruan

Hi yes you can do this. If you deploy a shared data source and configure the credentials for that DS to for the user you want. Then point the report at the shared DS.
