Hello everyone, is it good to load the stored procedure sp_whoisactive on the production server, for performance tuning/
My server is been experiencing slow performance. I watch a video on you-tube and is recommending Adams mechanic stored procedure sp_whoisactive for tuning. I want to know if is save to load that on the production server?

Adam's code is quite safe. Just make sure that you get it from Adam's website and not off of some You-Tube or other site.
100% yes. I pull down each new edition when it comes out and I test it and deploy it to all my production, dev and qa servers. About 250 in total. It is also part of every server build I do. When working with clients I also strongly recommend they install it. As a matter of fact, it is something I check for on their systems as well.
