Which is the best SQL version to use?

I need to know which SQL version would be more flexible to use as an industrial purpose of my cheap essay writing service. I have to store many users data in the day to day activities. So I am going to develop a software fro that. But I'm confused about the back-end. Need your valuable suggestion.

Hi, although you mentioned that you have to store many users, you did not mention a range. Out in the market, there are many softwares available for SQL, and Microsoft's SQL Server is one of them. Some are free (like MySQL), some are licenced (like SQL Server). Some are suited for small scale applications (like Microsoft Access) some are suited for heavy-weight enterprise level applications (like Oracle). Since you have asked this question on a SQL Server related forum, you may begin with Microsoft's SQL Server Express edition. It is a free edition with limited features for basic works. Latest version of SQL Server is 2014. You can download it directly from the [Microsoft website][1]. Do check for system requirements and compatibility before you proceed. The term 'Version' is a little confusing: you have several versions of MSSQL server, for example MSSQL 2012 (which is version 11) and MSSQL 2008R2 (which is version 10.5) Besides the versions, you also have an 'Edition' which determines the options MSSQL has. On a production server, you mostly see a 'Standard Edition'. For large environments or high available environments, you'll see 'Enterprise Edition' but it comes with a price ... There's also an 'Express Edition' which is basically a restricted standard edition. This is a free edition, but I would not recommend this edition for production environments. Have a look at the microsoft site to determine the different editions. I advise you to buy a developer license, this cost about $80 and has all the potential of an enterprise edition. This is a perfect start to learn and develop your MSSQL skills. Don't start with older MSSQL versions as these are outdated and unsupported. MSSQL 2012 is a stable version to start with (don't forget to install the latest servicepack)
