SSIS ISSUE - SQL SERVER 2014

I can log into it, but when I try to expand the MSDB folder it creates a dialog box that states: "Failed to retrieve data for this request" Mentions SQL SERVER instance not present or available. Also login timeout expired. It's installed, I can access, and did indeed go to Dcomcnfg and granted permissions, restarted. Any suggestions on why I can't open the MSDB folder? Thank you!

Just to add to this: I just noticed when I right click on the instance, there is no properties button?

Okay I found the issue as it was due to the instance name needed changed in the XML file in the system file. I changed it to the instance name and now I can open the MSDB folder. I did do a reboot, but have a question. When I right click on the SSIS instance, I don't see a properties option? Shouldn't that be there if I right click on the instance? Thank you for any reply!

One more thing - my developer can't connect to the instance, but I gave her permissions? Any ideas? So can't see options on right click of instance and developer can't connect to it? Thank you for any reply!

Okay, just to clarify something. When My developer tries to login to SSIS through object explorer, the SSIS instance is not an option? Why would this be? Thanks
