TFS server file is not in my BIDS source control

I have a report file in our TFS server and my local driver. But for some reason it not in my BIDS SSRS source control project file list. If I try to add this existing report, it said file already exists. I check yes to overwrite the existing file, it said 'Cannot add the item. There already exists an item with the same name under source control that prevents this add operation from continuing. Please rename the item and try adding it again.' If I look at my Solution Explorer folder, it is not there. Can someone help me this? Thanks.

Did you check the current file out before overwriting it? You may have to copy it to a different location then add it from there. It will copy it into the solution folders automatically.

I'd suggest removing it from source control entirely, manually, through the TFS interface (be sure you have a copy of it somewhere). Then, add it again to your project from your local disk. That ought to do the trick.
