SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 - Restore problem for CDC enabled Backup

Hi, I am just wondering whether anyone has run into a problem in restoring database backup from of SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP3 with the CDC turned on into SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 Standard Edition? Below error message appears despite the database restore script does NOT include keep_cdc flag. SQL Server cannot load database '%' because Change Data Capture is enabled. The currently installed edition of SQL Server does not support Change Data Capture. This was not an issue on SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2. Could this be a new bug? Thank you.

It is my understanding that you have to remove CDC from the source server (enterprise) before restoring on the destination (standard)

This is not the case when I have we are on SP2. According to the msdn docos, unless we use the flag keep_cdc, it will be restored without CDC, and this has been working fine since SP1 to SP2.
