Reporting server issue

Hello Everyone, We have 2 node cluster and on which SQL Server Reporting service has been install on one one node only. so when ever the SQL Resource fail from one node to other the service get stop and application fails... What could be the possible solution for the same. ( Can we install the reporting service on other node ) and how could we install the same.

For this the version and edition matters a lot. If you are running on appropriate version and edition (check on MSDN for cluster aware ssrs version) you can add SSRS service as a cluster resource similarly as you have added sql server service, disk group etc... Since SSRS is cluster aware it will be able to move along with node switch once added as a cluster resource. Also, FYI if you are running in Active/Active cluster mode the licensing cost will be for each node unlike the Active/Passive clustering model. Hope this helps.

we are using SQL server 2005

so it mean i need to install the SSRS on the other node.

aah...I answered this thread thinking in mind as if we were talking about SSAS. thanks for noticing and correcting it.
