problem with Instance of sqlserver

![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/temp/1700-capo.png Why is TESTSERVER white in the instance level indication? I have no problem in working with that but I am not getting why that instance is in white color.

That part of the icon is used to indicate the status of the SQL Server Service. The account you are using may not have the correct administrative rights (on the Windows server) to see that.

sysadmin on the SQL Server, or administrator rights on the Windows Server?
