Cluster Network Name cant be brought online
I have a sql cluster and nothing has changed on it but when I came in today I am seeing errors in the cluster log, saying it cant bring the SQL Network Name, Cluster Name, DTC Name online, unable to update password. Gives me an event id of 1207 . When I go to the Cluster and click the properties tab on the SQL Network name is shows Kerberos as unavailable and says RPC server Unavailable, I have googled everything I can think of I can see in the logs were it successfully deregistered and registered the SPN. I know we had a problem with the domain controller last week but everything was working fine then. I have another SQL farm that has 2 instances on it and only 1 instance is spitting that same error in the Cluster log.
Just wanted to update this question, they just so happened to reboot the Domain Controller over the weekend and when I came all my Cluster Errors were gone. I think it had to do with Kerberos and once they rebooted the Domain Controller it renewed the certs.
