I want to do the following iterative process in access and have no idea how to go about doing it. I have several data subgroups within my set and here is what I want to do. All subjects in a group have the same temperature. 1.Store average temperature for the subject with the highest average temperature 2.Remove all groups containing this subject from the data set. 3.Recalculate averages for each subject with new data set. 4.Repeat steps 1-3 for all subjects in data set. Each group has a unique ID as does each subject. Basically I want to take the average for each subject using a data set where where they are always the temperature-determining subject.
