suppress output when using set language

I create HTML reports bij redirecting the T-SQL ouput to a file. I want the date format in a specific setting, so my first statement in the script is 'SET LANGUAGE DUTCH' Unfortunately, this results in a message saying "language is set to ...." which also comes to my outputfile. Is there a way to suppress this message?

Can you set the language in the connection string/settings so that it doesnt need to be done via TSQL?

No, I don't see such option. However, if you add the -R parameter, it's using the client regional setting, which works fine for me.
