My computer reboots very frequently

Hi All, Today i have intalled windows 7 OS(64 bit) with 2 GB of RAM. After the installation completed i started working. But frequently my system got rebooted with out any errors when i run some T-sql query. I dont know how to resolve this issues. Please guide me. I am guessing, this issue is happen due to inadequate memory. Dont know how to confirm this.

Are you executing SELECT * FROM VeryLargeData?

Can you please paste the TSQL query you are running ?

Hi there, You have menioned the OS, but did not mention the SQL Server version and Edition. For 2012 Microsoft recommends the following- SQL Server 2012 requires a minimum of 6 GB of available hard-disk space. Other requirements are as follows - Memory- Minimum: Express Editions: 512 MB All other editions: 1 GB Recommended: Express Editions: 1 GB All other editions: At least 4 GB and should be increased as database size increases to ensure optimal performance. Processor Speed - Minimum: x86 Processor: 1.0 GHz x64 Processor: 1.4 GHz Recommended: 2.0 GHz or faster
