Cannot deploy SQL 2012 SSIS project

Hi, Trying to deploy SSIS project on Windows 2008R2/SQL 2012, an error: The object cannot be added because another object with the same name already exists in the collection. Use a different name to resolve this error. Beside renaming the package, is another way around? Thanks. Chris

Does the project contain only one package or multiple? Also, are you sure that you are deploying to the correct server?

Create a folder in SSISCatalog and deploy the project inside the folder.

Hi Venkataraman, Thanks for replying. Yes, I did create folder under Integration Services Catelogs\SSISDB. I updated package and tried to replace existing one; somehow it would not let me. Chris

Hi John, Thanks. Project has multiple package. I used to be able to re-import and overwrite existing one; somehow not lately. I even deleted the package from SSISDB internal...still no luck. I was to able to re-create thru BIDS, drop in dtsx file and deploy from target server - very time consuming. Chris
