WinRar Encryption

I have SQL2008R2 Standard and am trying to come up with a way to encrypt my backups. I have written a script that uses WINRAR encryption and it works great for me. The issue I am having is I do not want to show my password in the WinRAR command line, I want it to be ciphered. The Currentcommand is below: the password is after the -hp switch, but I do not want to show the password. This command will be run from within a stored procedure. winrar -m0 a -hpT3$tPw "D:\\TEST\\Test1.BAK.RAR" "D:\\Test\\Test1.BAK" Any idea to accomplish this using WINRAR? Thanks

I think WinRAR does expect you to pass the password in cleartext. Better you encrypt the stored procedure and so, other persons cannot see the password being passed to WinRAR.

Thanks that's what I did, encrypt the stored procedure.
