How to migrate dbmail profiles from one sql instance to another?

Hi, Can anyone help me in migrating dbmail profile settings from one sql server instance to another. I know that it is not possible via SSMS GUI. Is there any other way like generating t-sql scripts or so. I tried to manually create t-sql for some of the profiles but i want all profiles to be included in the scripts with all their dbmail settings...Can any one help me... Thanks in advance... This [article]( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189289(v=sql.105).aspx) should get you going in the right direction. I have a script that creates my profile and accounts for server builds so having a script is doable.

Definitely learn to script you actions so you can manage multiple servers consistently and efficiently. Here is a database mail setup script you can use. Just supply your own email information http://kenj.blogspot.com/2006/12/database-mail.html

Thanks Tim. I already tried using templates earlier but found that it creates profiles with anonymous authentication. The profiles which are present in dbmail are using Basic Authentication. So that was the reason why I asked for any alternate solution to generate T-SQL script for all profile with all their settings.... Thanks a lot ...

one more question related DBMAIL in sql server .... Can I grant accesses to DBMAIL Configuration wizard to database user. I am aware that DBMAIL Configuration wizard can be accessed by members of SYSADMIN roles only...Even then is there any possibility to provide accesses to normal user using t-sql or something like that... Thanks Pankaj Kota

The procedures are restricted to members of the sysadmin server role - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms188058.aspx
