How can I reduce data set size in the snapshot generation of the replication?

I have selected compress snapshot files in this folder check box while assigning a new location for my snapshot of the transactional replication. while i was trying to generate the snapshot, i was getting error message 'The compressed size of the cabinet has just exceeded the SQL replication's predefined limit of 2147418111 bytes retry the operation again after disabling compression or reducing the data set size'. Can anyone know how can i reduce the data set size? what it exactly suggested here? I know the limit of the cab file is 2 GB.

There's nothing you can do about it. CAB files are limited to 2 GB. Your only option is to uncheck compression and let the agent generate an uncompressed snapshot.
