creating a domain account

Hello i need to install sql server on new windows server 2008 R2.here i am unable to find active directory users and computers to create a Domain account with Local Administrator rights for the computer on which the SQL Server is being installed. This Domain account must be used to install and run SQL Server Integration Services. please give me the steps how i can create a domain account on windows server 2008 R2.

The ability to manage active directory has typically been an add on. You can view local users and groups with "Server Management". Most IT shops will have someone responsible for maintaining Active Directory and will need to create the new service account for you. If you only need a dedicated local user that is not a Domain User then if you have local admin rights you can create that. However if it must a Domain level account you should let those who are responsible do that. Chances are you don't have permissions to create objects in the user container anyway. Hope this helps.
